In front of 100 children and women who raised their ID cards, the police reacted by shooting sponge bullets, pepper gas and beating people. Five people were taken to hospital and 6 were arrested. As usual, the Jewish arrested people were released on the same day, but the Bedouin were not.
From Sunday until Tuesday this week there was no work in El Arakib, but MKs, representatives of the Arab sector and activists were present there. To day, Wednesday, the bulldozers came in the morning and started working. After 3 hours of quiet work, the police ordered the residents to gather in the cemetery but did not give them enough time to do it, and started shooting at them. 3 people agreed to be evacuated to the hospital, but others did not because they were afraid that the police will take over the cemetery.
The entrance to the cemetery was blocked by mounds of earth and it is not clear how the vehicles will leave the area. There is information about a video that shows police officers stepping on the legs of an old man. If there is such a video, we will send it later.
