In the last few years many private companies have advertised that they are helping people who suffer from health problems and could not get the assistance they are entitled to from the Social Security Office or insurance companies. It is hard to get the appropriate doctor’s opinion and to explain to the committee’s doctor what is wrong’ and why help is needed.
At least twice a month we help people to fill out documents and write a letter to the medical committee. This is a small portion of our work, but we do it out of a feeling of duty and responsibility towards the people who come to us. In many cases we have been  able to help them to get what they are entitled to. We continue to learn more and more about the rights of the people who turn to us for help as they are unable to manage by themselves. People tell me that there will always be a need for people to represent others before the authorities, but I think that we have to see to it that people who can not afford a lawyer or a company to represent them will be able to receive their allowances.
