Elul, The end of the Summer, The sound of the Shofar is heard in the synagogues and the clamor of protest on the streets. The Days of Awe approach. Elul is the month when we start in a long procedure of self examination that formally finishes on Hoshana-Raba, but informally never ends. We are always being tested. We are tested as we are requested to hear the Still Small Voice, to turn and change direction, and return to our true selves ,to the potential we always had. And indeed we all are tested in these historical times. Employees Testimonies on Abuse

The Histadrut Labor Federation (worker’s union) stopped from keeping the employees rights and the number of its members ecreased.

On Thursday, September 1st at 19:00-21:00 in the “Social-Economic College” Tents on Rothschild Boulevard, Tel Aviv, six worker from all areas of the Israeli working market will testify on their experience of abuse, humiliation, or hard work that does not enable to live in dignity. Continue Reading
