Another eviction prevented – Acharei Mot – Kedoshim Newsletter
The eve of Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day) and Yom HaAtzmaut (Independence Day). Our Torah readings areb “Akharei Mot” (After the deaths) and “Kedoshim” (You shall be holy). Israel grants public housing for two groups as whole societies – for worthy social purposes: it grants the agricultural sector with cheap land of the Israel Land Administration in order to encourage agriculture; and it grants few of the weaker populations with public housing for reasons of social empowerment. The victory of Ovadia – Newsletter of Parashat T’tzave – Shabbat Zachor
Due to the mutual struggle of all the social activists, Ovadia Ben-Avraham stopped his hunger strike. An agreement with Amidar was reached and the eviction order for February 27th was canceled.
