I joined the trip to A-Sirah akabliyah and I am so glad I did. While it was only symbolic, it was better to go than not. The family whose house has Jewish graffiti on it where lovely. So calm and smiling, they seemed the most unlikely targets for some kind of vindictive action. As a Jewish Israeli, it was great to be there and show that not all Israelis are the same as those that attack people in their homes. They had triple bars on their windows to try to prevent another attack on their home being successful. They said that they had been attacked multiple times and now have a barbed wire fence around their home.
