Under cover of prayer, extremists vandalize Palestinian vehicles & disrespect graves

Palestinians report that extremist settlers damaged five vehicles in the village of Awarta. The vandals appear to have exploited permissions granted by the army to 500 Jews to enter a holy site near Awarta for prayer. It is not yet clear to us how a few of them managed to bypass the army security and damage the cars. The army indicated to the field director of Rabbis for Human Rights that an investigation would be launched.

In the video released from the scene appears to show the extremist settlers stomping on and disrespecting the graves of Palestinians in a Muslim cemetery in the village. More photos here and video below:

Needless to say, the disrespect of the dead is a serious matter in both religions.
