RHR mourns the loss of Rabbi Joshua O. Haberman of blessed memory

Rabbis for Human Rights shares its deepest sympathies with the family, friends, congregants and students of Rabbi Joshua O. Haberman, of blessed memory. Rabbi Haberman was a rabbi, a teacher, and a mentor to many people of many faiths. He was a father, husband, and grandfather.

His interfaith work reflected the values of human dignity and is part of his legacy which lives on in many of those whom he touched.

Rabbi Haberman was Judy Forman’s father and RHR Co-Founder, Rabbi David Forman’s (of blessed memory) father-in-law.

RHR extends its sympathies and offers comfort to Judy and her family and to all those whose lives were touched by Rabbi Haberman.

Rabbi Haberman was the long time Senior Rabbi (18 years) and Rabbi Emeritus of the Washington Hebrew Congregation. The Washington Hebrew Congregation published a full obituary.
