Clowns Without Borders bring joy to the summer camp of the Jahalin children: photography, Yehiel Grenimann, June 26th 2012

Last week we protested against the demolitions in Susya in South Hebron Hills (Please read David Shulman’s article). we joined the social struggle in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. We found out that the police used violence against the protesters and therefore we sent a letter to the Interior Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich. Shabbat Shalom.

Rabbi Jeremy Milgrom wrote on Parashat Chukat.

On Thursday we participated in a meeting with Jewish and Muslim from the “Tag Meir” coalition in the Mosque which was recently set on fire in the Palestinian village of Jabah.

We call to stop the eviction of the South Sudanese refugees.

Here are pictures taken by Rabbi Yehiel Grenimann of the Jahalin children’s summer camp.

Our support of the Susya residents against the Regavim petition was published in the media: An opinion article of Akiva Eldar that was published in Haaretz mentioned our petition against Regavim in connection with the Palestinians evictions from area C; in addition, Akiva Eldar also wrote about the meanings of Regavim petitionAn AP article against the planned demolition of Susya; Walla reported about our demonstrationIn YNET an article  on the planned apartheid in area C,  especially in SusyaGideon Levi from Haaretz also wrote about Susya. We forgot to mention last week that Rabbi Arik Ascherman was interviewed on Thursday, June 7th by Channel 2 and talked against the eviction of Sudanese refugees.

We, together with other organization, signed a letter to the Defense Minister demanding the preparation of the army for settler violence against Palestinians following the evacuation of Givat Haulpena. The writing is on the wall: Defense Minister must act to prevent next “Price Tag” incident (BtselemAcriScoopAustralian Jewish VoicesNew Israeli Fund).
